About this Opportunity

We are looking for an engaged and passionate Learning Coordinator to embark upon a customised residential experience as part of our Year 9 Moonbah Program based at the School's High Country Campus (Jindabyne). The program and teaching role are underpinned by Redlands' commitment to the development of each student's personal growth. Living in community and on site at Redlands' High Country Campus outside of Jindabyne, students connect, learn, and lead to foster deep understanding and critical thinking via a rich and varied interdisciplinary curriculum. Through the 9-week program, students deepen independence, responsibility and are empowered to become the authors of their future selves. The High Country Campus Learning Coordinator is a member of the High Country Campus Leadership Team and the successful candidate will be aligned and committed to the School's Vision, Mission and Values.

About you

The successful applicant will be someone who is passionate about creating a positive impact for our students and the School, has excellent written and oral communication skills, and has a keen desire to support others to succeed!

To succeed in this role, you should have the following competencies and experience:

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualifications.
  • Leadership experience in a school.
  • A deep appreciation of the particular learning styles, social and emotional needs of Stage 5 students and an ability to focus on the individual needs of all students to provide growth and development opportunities.
  • Ability to function effectively as the leader of a staff team in a residential context.
  • A high level of curriculum, development and implementation experience and skill.
  • Excellent team player who works effectively and collaboratively with other staff.
  • Outstanding professional presentation and manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to think strategically and to problem solve in creative and effective ways.
