Role Overview: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Outdoor Educators to join our Education and Delivery team at The Outdoor Education Group (OEG). As an Outdoor Educator, you will have the unique opportunity to facilitate outdoor learning programs and activities in various remote locations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead outdoor learning programs with a focus on safety and education.
- Foster teamwork and open communication.
- Deliver personalised learning experiences while promoting environmental conservation.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
Competency Profile:
- Certificate III or IV in Outdoor Leadership or Degree in Outdoor Education (desirable)
- Confident swimmer, being able to swim 200m, tread water for up to 5 minutes and confidently drag someone from the water.
- Passion for outdoor education and building social capital in young Australians
- Flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and a solution-focused mindset
- Experience working with children
- Remote First Aid with current CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Manual driver’s license
- Climbing qualifications (desirable)
Salary: $53,352.00 (pro rata) + super + allowances + 7 weeks annual leave (pro rata)
