Casual Group Leaders

We are looking for Casual Group Leaders interested in 2 Blocks of work in Term 1 & 2 2025

This offer includes:

2 Blocks of work – Feb 5th to April 11 (10weeks) and/or April 30th to May 30th (5 weeks)
Pay approximately $13,500 and $8,500 respectively
Uniforms and end of season function
Paid 7 days of training between Jan 23rd to Feb 4th

Who we are:

Somerset has a proud history in the outdoor education space since 1981 and over that time we have employed 1000’s of people across all areas of operation.
Operating 2-6 day journey-style programs (including Duke of Ed) from our basecamp, utilising the River and surrounding bush.
Our seasons run from mid-January to beginning of June and Mid-July to Mid-December
Somerset is located 90mins from Sydney on the glorious Colo River.
We have over 20 fixed private campsites and over 20 activity areas that groups move between to complete their experience.
Groups are mostly in the Year 5-10 age group (11-17 years old).
Level 2 Casual Leader program long day rate with overnight allowance reaching $556.28
Superannuation payments in accordance with legislation.
We provide; all meals and tent accomm whilst on program; first aid kit and uniform; all required activity and campsite equipment.

What Group Leaders require:

Certificate IV in Outdoor Rec / Leadership
NSW WWCC
Qualifications in canoeing or kayaking, bushwalking & abseil or climbing,
Remote or Wilderness First Aid (or the ability to acquire)
